About Tanin :: TANIN INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION was founded in 2003 by Mandy Schoeman who is a Certified Microsoft Trainer and Qualified Futher Education Teacher, with more than 18 years Technical Writing, Communication and Teaching experience. Mandy started out by developing learning courseware and delivering training for the Microsoft Office suite of products in 1992. Over the years Mandy worked with some of the biggest Training Providers in South Africa, delivering and developing training material for companies like CS Computer Services, Pin-Point Training, IT-IQ, Damelin, Dimension Data, ForwardSlash and Intec to name a few. As there were no Technical Communication education programs available in South Africa, it was in 1999 that Mandy started developing the first and only Technical Writing and Communications Qualification program on the African continent. In February 2004, after 2 years of development, TANIN INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION ran the first Technical Writing Diploma program at FTI offices in Cape Town. Due to its success TANIN INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION is offering the diploma program through lecture based and self-study distance learning. “These programs will assist aspiring or self-made IT writers gain the knowledge, grounding and most importantly a qualification in order to pursue a successful career as a Technical Writer anywhere in the world” says Mandy.
